* Overview
The Gunsan Plant, equipped with an annual
capacity of 120,000 tons of Pre-Coated Metal,
does its best in providing its customers
with fast delivery, the highest quality
and the best service. Since its commercial
production in 1998, it has been endeavoring
to quickly stabilize its quality and its
system. It enabled the plant, despite its
short history, to achieve competitiveness
against its existing competitors. Objective
feedback of our exports showed that our
products were of exceptional quality and
our customers were satisfied.
The plant adopted the indirect heating system
to harden paint film, by which the paint
film has flawless consistency. Using the
surface smoothness as a selling point, it
is producing many products for interior/exterior
materials for architecture, home appliance
materials and other special purposes. In
1999, the plant was certified for KS, being
followed by ISO 9002 and Safety and Health
Management System, and the plant’s efforts
to maximize customer satisfaction can be
seen in its development for new products
such as coated metal with printed tiles
and aroma Pre-coated metal.
