* Overview
The Changwon Plant, with its large-scale
high-tech factories in Changwon Kyungsangnam-do,
produces stainless steel pipes, titanium
tubes, U-tube and adiabatic double pipes.
It was the first plant in Korea to weld
stainless steel pipes using TIG and plasma
up to 400A. The plant also turns out large-diameter
stainless steel pipe of 450A~1,200A using
the roll bending method.
It supplies KEPCO with titanium tube used
for the heat exchanger in nuclear power
stations, acquiring the reputation for the
high product quality. Another supply to
KEPCO is the U-tube for nuclear power generation,
which had always been imported in the past,
but has now been successfully developed
by SeAH for the first time in Korea. After
starting production of Korea¡¯s first adiabatic
double pipe, SeAH began distributing district-heating
products to newly developed urban areas
such as Bundang and Ilsan.
